Each moment of the day the planets continue their movements through the sky bringing in possibilities for learning and growth which is what we are all here to accomplish.
In general each planet brings us different energies to learn about, and each degree in the sky has a different meaning. To understand the meangings and energies of the powers available to us to harness is to become a true Master in every sense of the word. Jesus said, and he meant exactly what he said, "you shall do all this, as I do, and more."
We are here to learn and grow, and the Ascended Masters and Angels are with us at all times, whether or not we are able to see them. Learning to see them and learning to work with them and to empower ourselves is what we are here to learn to do.
The Angels want to help us and in order to do so we must remember to ask. Angels are not humans and humans are not Angels just as we are not owls and owls are not humans. Each energy form has a unique path for growing and the Angels grow in their own paths and learning by helping us. They want to help us. They cannot help us unless asked. So, it is very important to remember to ask them each and every day to teach us and show us what is the most important task we can accomplish next. That may be thinking more positively, letting something that no longer works go, opening ourselves up to new challenges, changing directions, or persisting and enduring through the direction and path we are currently on.

We all come in with assignments, work we are meant to accomplish, the work we have assigned ourselves in this incarnation at this time. This is a very exciting time to be on earth. Huge energies have opened and there are a great many beings from all over the galaxy here to assist us in moving through this period of time.
There are many paths for learning and as the student is ready, the Teacher will appear. It is important to check that your teacher is humble, dedicated, strong, disciplined and of the utmost integrity. Very clear communication and boundaries are crucial so that you enjoy the best guidance.
Below are a few beginning basics of the energies available through the planets:
Sun- The Sun is our Heart, our Spirit and a living being which provides information to us through light. Light carries the information in packets and it is extremely important to receive light each day as it provides not only Vitamin D but it also nourishes our glandular structures and the glands provide pathways for the light to move through our bodies. For example, the pineal gland synthesizes and secretes melatonin for us to sleep and the melatonin begins to secrete as the day grows dark. So, it is important that we live in natural lighting and as the evening progresses to allow our homes, our spaces for living to grow dark.
In each sign the Sun has different attributes and there are many signs with many descriptions on the web which provide excellent insight on the energies of the planets. One of the best books available on Signs and Aspects is: A Spiritual Approach to Astrology by Myrna Lofthus.
Kabbalistically, The Sun rules Tiphareth and the Heart of the Sacred Tree of Life. To reach the energies of the Heart is for many Kabbalists the apex of the journey.
Moon - The Moon is our emotions, our desires, what and how we wish to feel. The Moon can at times overtake the Sun as the energy of the Sun comes naturally, it is what we are born with and the Moon is what we reach for, how we feel emotionally fulfilled.
Kabbalistically, the Moon rules Yesod. On the lightening path this is the most difficult sephirah on the journey down the lightening path. It is where most new initiates fall as the many mirrors of the mind may not reflect back to the initiate that which he or she believes is reality. Accepting and knowing and taking full responsibility for all of one's life, knowing that all that which one witnesses one has drawn to oneself as part of the agreements we made before we came here helps one here. Often early in our journey we will dream of mirrors here, the mirror symbolizing that which is part of the reflection of our emotions (our water worlds and bodies) and our thoughts (our intellectual world and our Air world). Being disciplined and strong here is important, knowing one's boundaries.
Mercury - Mercury describes how we communicate, whether we send and receive information enthusiastically, as a fire sign would do, or emotionally as a water sign would prefer, or logically, as an air sign likes, or practically, as an Earth sign would normally prefer.
Mercury rules Hod Kabbalistically, the tool of the mind, the energies of the mind. How we send and receive the energies of thought: Earth - practically, Water - Emotionally, Fire - Creatively, Air - Logically.
Venus - The planet Venus describes our love life. She rules the signs Taurus and Libra. In Taurus she is a sensual sign that likes her love shown in physical ways, through the taste of chocolate, the feeling of silk, the feeling of green moss beneath your feet. In Libra she is a harmonious sign who wishes to feel the energies of love in a creative and balanced manner with great beauty. Librans need to provide themselves with beauty in their environment as visual beauty stimulates and soothes them. Venus in Pisces is her exaltation, the strongest placement for Venus and Venus in Pisces knows in her heart that we are all One, and by serving you, she serves herself.
Kabbalistically, Venus rules the energies of Netzach, Victory.
Earth - Mother Earth is where we live and its placement is difficult to calculate in the chart unless one is very clear on the astrological calculation or if one was born with the Sun close to the Midheaven, the Earth will always be beneath one's feet in the IC, or the junction of the 3rd and 4th house. Earth is where we live and it is most often the energies which are easiest for us to assimilate but it is also where we have the most work to do.
Kabbalistically, Earth rules Malkuth, or my preference is the name, Shekinah. Our mother earth, where we stand. Our goal here is to bring Heaven on Earth. We were meant to live in beauty and harmony. That which is in discord, strife, or disharmony is that which has fallen out of alignment. We are all responsible to return the energies here to harmony, beauty, and alignment by doing our own work with great integrity and joy, knowing that we will achieve our goals.
It is here that we are able to create our "Garden of Eden," or Heaven or Hell on Earth.
