1.) Get an astrological chart for yourself. The link for a free chart is here. Or here.
2.) A d means a degree. 20d is 20degrees. An m is a minute 20d10m30s, an s is a second. So, it would be read 20 degrees, 10 minutes 30 seconds.
3.) Look up the meanings for the symbols (these are ancient heiroglyps and their meanings can be penetrated by meditating on the symbols). For example, the + is tie to earth. The half-circle is the subconscious representing the moon. And, more ... these are worthy meditations. The meanings are here.
4.) Now you have a chart you can begin adding the meanings of the Angels. When your Sun is 10d0m1s you read the 11th degree. When your Moon is 10d0m you read the 11th degree ... your planet is always going to be at least one second into the next degree as planets are large. 0d1m Mars in Aries is read for the Kabbalah Angel of 1 degree Aries.
5.) Also read the ASC - the Ascendant - this is an important placement and requires you either know the exact time of your birth or you have your chart rectified by a professional astrologer. A rectification means you take three or more important events and then compare them to your cart at the time of your birth ... most professionals will then be able to quickly arrive at an accurate time for you.
6.) You can also read the MC or MH - the MidHeaven, the sky above, although this is a significant point it doesn't carry the energy of the Ascendant which is a powerful energy.
7.) Now study the Angels and the meanings of those Angels for each of your planets showing you which Angels are assisting you in working out the divine plan you have laid for yourself at the time of your birth.
6.) Understand exactly what is meant by: Earth, Air, Water, Fire and how this applies in Kabbalah and metaphysics. All religions on earth at their highest levels have these elements (some have more), and some use the elements in different orders, my personal preference is the Tibetan order which exactly corresponds to the order of Physics:
Earth > Water > Fire > Air to demanifest.
Aether (Spiritual) > Air (Mental) > Fire (Creative Imagination) > Water (Emotional, Magnetizing) > Earth (Manifesting) to Manifest.
7.) Read many of the degrees and know where the astrological Angel of today's degree is by running a chart for today. THe moon also moves quickly, understand where the Moon is. The Moon Angels will be added after the Sun Angels are complete as the Sun is always the most important placement of the chart.

In some, the order of Fire and Air has been switched which is the order the Native American Indians of the Lakota Nation use as well. It is impossible to make Fire without Air, Air alone requires nothing else to be, therefore, it is the highest and lightest element. Fire is more dense and heavier.
9.) Spiritual Orders of power are the reverse of Mundane, Earthly orders of strength for planets. It is Moses walk through the dessert of 40 years that symbolizes the completed spiritual progress of an Aspirant attempting Ascension. Therefore between the initiation and completion of an earthly life process, it takes 40 years. There are seven exceptions to this currently alive at any one time on our Mother EArth as there are always seven Ascended Masters on our Planet to assist in bringing in the most powerful Sacred Law: The Law of Love.
10.) Read each letter of an Angels Name and I will add the tones and colors ... so, you could sound the tone of a letter, speak the letter and breathe the color in from Divine Light, and your inner guru, your sacred essence, breathes out the light to, for example, a goblet of wine (Holy Communion - a Sacred Sacrament) or a bottle of water, still blessing and making the water holy.
